That dress is just a little too short and teeny bopper for me, so if you don't mind a less literal version of SJP's outfit, I would go for a dress more like this one from Ann Taylor Loft. It's dark purple-y, and no lace, but the ruffles still make it girly. Plus the length and styling make it more age appropriate someone older than 22. This dress is $69.50, but Ann Taylor Loft often has coupons and/or sales.
Then look for a white boyfriend blazer, or white tuxedo jacket.
